You ever need to throw something into a DVD player to get young children (like 5 and under) out of your hair for an hour? It’s the dilemma of every parent … and every person who’s ever babysitted for a young child. You can’t exactly throw on Scarface or The Departed without realizing you’re a terrible human being at some point in that thought process. Thank goodness for titles like Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Tales, animated fair that you can throw on for the little ones and be thankful that they won’t see ten minutes straight of graphic head shots.

Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Tales is three short tales from the Strawberry Shortcake universe that won’t offend parents and will keep children occupied while you do something else.

Running over an hour, it’s innocuous children’s programming that you can throw on, do the dishes and not have to worry for a while. After about five minutes any adult is going to realize this is explicitly for young children and this is perfect if you have children under five who need to be entertained.

There’s some Printables included but no other extras.
