Big Brother 17 Episode 31 just wrapped up! Here’s a recap of everything that went down, and what we think you should expect to come:

WARNING: Spoilers below (duh).

The episode started off following the Nomination Ceremony. Vanessa has just nominated Meg and James for eviction, and Meg is upset to be up against her best friend in the house. Vanessa explains that she did what would get the least blood on her hands. She tells James that it was nothing personal, and she has no target.

James tells Meg they “Clay and Shelli-ed them” and that one of them has to win the Veto. Meg says one of them is going home, and is upset they kept Vanessa. Vanessa says that they are a powerful duo, and that she did it to move up in alliances and feels bad. Meg tells her they were never targeting her.

Vanessa and Steve are discussing Veto outcomes, and she says that she can’t and won’t piss off the Austwins, and that she’s been behind every eviction and has too much blood on her hands.

Vanessa, Meg, James, Julia, Liz, and Austin are all selected to participate in the Veto competition.

Meg and James think that Austwins are going to try and win the veto and not use it. James says that if he doesn’t win he deserves to go home.

James wins the Power of Veto.

James and Meg celebrate and are excited to find out who the replacement nominee will be. They both think Vanessa will realize there are bigger threats than Meg.

Vanessa and Liz are both upset about the Veto, and Vanessa is not sure what to do. Vanessa tells Liz she can’t put up John because she doesn’t have assurance that the Austwins will vote Meg out.

James tells Austin and Meg that if he wins HOH, Vanessa is going up and that he is tired of her. Austin tells him that he had nothing to do with his nomination, and he says he understands.

Austin tells Vanessa what James said, and Vanessa says she now has to take Meg out.

Vanessa tells the Austwins that she’s screwed, and that Julia has to go up as the pawn so Steve doesn’t flip. Julia says that she’s too big a threat and they all try to convince her to put up John.

James asks Vanessa where they stand, and Vanessa explains that the number are limited, and that it was nothing personal. She also says that she heard she was his target. James says that she plays too hard, and she gets insulted and tells him to leave the room.

James uses the Power of Veto on himself, Vanessa nominates Julia in his place. Either Meg or Julia will be evicted.
