I’m a pretty big fan of most of Valiant Comics’ series. I’m particularly a fan of the immortal brothers Anni-Padda and their series: Archer and Armstrong, Ivar Timewalker and (Wrath of the) Eternal Warrior.
During Fan Expo 2015 in Toronto this weekend, I was pleased to score copies of the first two issues of a retailor exclusive mini-series tied into Valiant Comics’ summer event: Book of Death!
Legends of the Geomancer is promised never to be reprinted or collected or become a dilgital comic book. Instead of just giving variants to retailors as an incentive, Legends of the Geomancer #1-4 will be a retailor exclusive mini-series. Pretty neat.
Legends of the Geomancer #1 and #2 were fun reads that tell the early history of the Valiant Universe through its first Geomancer and what appears to be its first immortal, Gilad, the oldest of the Anni-Padda immortal brothers of Armstrong and Ivar. We also see where the name Anni-Padda comes from the first two issues.
If you can track them down, pick them up! Two more issues to go in September and October 2015!
