Fan Expo Canada 2015 coincided with Force Friday which had Disney start its marketing push to December 2015’s Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens feature film. That marketing push began with making available toys for purchase by comic book retailors as well as by fans through various venues: Legos, action figures, electronic gadgets and so much more. Fan Expo Canada 2015 in Toronto became a de facto Star Wars convention for some fans!
At the same time, we also had the release of the first interior pages from In the Journey to Star Wars: Shattered Empire #1! This is the mini-series that bridges Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens!
