Army of Darkness invades 3 Blu-rays in October

Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness was an amazing experience for fans in the theaters nearly two decades ago. But now there’s going to be even more of third installment of Evil Dead when Scream Factory gives it the Collector’s Edition treatment. There will be four cuts of the film spread across three Blu-ray discs. The theatrical cut, a director’s cut, the international version and the TV cut. Plus they still found deleted scenes and outtakes that are in none of the four cuts. By the end of watching this boxset, Bruce Campbell will be your new cousin. Here’s the groovy press release from Scream Factory laying out all the goodness:

ARMY OF DARKNESS movie synopsis
Back to do battle with the hideous “Deadites,” Bruce Campbell returns to the role of Ash, the handsome, shotgun-toting, chainsaw-armed department store clerk from S-Mart’s housewares division. Demonic forces time warp him – and his ’73 Oldsmobile – into England’s Dark Ages, where he romances a beauty (Embeth Davidtz, The Amazing Spider-Man) and faces legions of the undead. Can Ash save the living from the evil dead, rescue his girlfriend, and get back to his own time?
