What is it: Another anthology series, this one inspired by the Coen Brothers movie of the same name. This season follows Lou Solverson, who is charged with protecting then presidential candidate Ronald Reagan as he passes through Fargo, North Dakota.
Why you should watch: The first season was unbelievably good. The pitch black humor took it’s cues from the comedy of the movie, also incredibly dark. The first season was compulsively watchable and this season has an all new cast (Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson, Jesse Plemmons, Nick Offerman, Brad Garret, and Bruce Campbell) all having fun with their Minnesota nice accents. If the new season keeps the same focus and humor as the first, we’ll have another hit on our hands.
