It’s been awhile since I was inspired to write something wrestling-related, but a certain NXT Women’s Champion has changed all that. Why? Because I can’t help but mark out for Bayley.
So then I got to thinking about how Bayley is the ultimate underdog, and how pure a baby face character she truly is. When she does come up to the main roster, it will be refreshing to see a female wrestler who HAS to be booked as likable by Creative, because with Bayley they have no other choice (in a good way).
There are thousands of Izzys all over the world who are looking for a Bayley to look up to, and I think she is the best pure face since Rey.
Also, like Rey touching masks with kids when he walked to the ring, I love seeing Bayley give out her hair bands to those kids who just LOVE her.
I can’t wait for Bayley to change the culture of women’s wrestling on the main roster, and force Creative to book a “Diva” that fans can actually rally behind from a character / kayfabe standpoint.
