After much speculation it seems top indie female star Athena has indeed joined NXT. According to some sources, she signed a contact in September. She made her live NXT debut this week-end, teaming up with Gionna Daddio against Alexa Bliss and Peyton Royce. Fans who witnessed the match say she made quite an impression despite losing.
