According to some reports, WWE is showing interest in current ROH star Michael Elgin. The main reason for that interest would be the buzz Elgin created while working for NJPW, most notably during this year’s G1 Climax Tournament. According to the same reports, WWE/NXT officials would look at Elgin as someone who can help get a “niche” brand like NXT over.
