Roman Reigns Talks About Seth Rollins Injury, Becoming World Champion, Sheamus Cash-In

News

Roman Reigns was recently interviewed by Antenna 3 in Spain to promote the WWE 2K16 video game and the current WWE European tour. Here are some highlights:

Roman Reigns comments on WWE 2K16:

“The product and its development is getting better and better. I remember last year WWE 2K15 and just to see from an outside perspective the advancements and taking it to the next level, and like you said, the roster is bigger, we have so many more Superstars you can play with. If you are lucky enough you can play as the Terminator and you can wrestle a full match with him, two different versions of the character.

It just blows my mind the level of detail they have added. Back when I was a kid I played Mario and Nintendo and now it’s light years ahead and that’s what WWE 2k16 has done and they take it to the next level.”

Roman Reigns comments on Seth Rollins’ injury, if it shifts his focus at all:

“Yes it’s hard, you know, it was a couple of days ago. Everyone knows that Seth hurt his knee and will be out for a while, but no matter what kind of competition you’re in or what your goals are or what you are trying to achieve, you never want anyone to get hurt. We had our differences, many differences, but I wish him a speedy recovery and a return to where he belongs, which is in the ring with us, but at the same time, this will be a good time for him, he will be out a long time and be able to charge the batteries and return even better. That said, my goal remains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, from understanding there will be a tournament, it will be very hard, but I do not care who is in it , I will take out anybody that I have to. “

Does he worry Sheamus will cash-in Money In The Bank on the tournament winner?
“I’ve dealt with this before. I had to do the same at Wrestlemania with Seth, and I know exactly what it feels like to have that opportunity taken away. I can guarantee that it will not go down like that again. I will not be in the middle of a fight and just have a guy run-in — I don’t care who, I refuse, I will not let that ever happen again. My guard was down once, and it hurt me, and it’s something I learned so Sheamus will not have a chance.”
I've been following wrestling for almost 30 years now, and the metal scene for even longer. And let's just say that all that head-banging has left me with some weird ideas that i will share with you from time to time. Aren't you glad?
