After two weeks of panic booking by WWE due to Seth Rollins’ gnarly knee injury, we’ve come to the conclusion of the epic tournament for the WWE world title. Featuring such top-flight stars as “that masked guy who kind of looks like Sin Cara” and “that British guy who used to have bad news and now he’s the King of something, I think,” it’s truly the cream of the crop of people who weren’t injured or previously booked in other matches.
I know what you’re thinking, though: “Hey, Scott, I’m all about Roman Reigns, are we going to talk about him some more? It’s been one whole week since we’ve had a column about him.” Fear not, because the Big Dog Era is about to begin in earnest. The Roman Empire will be sweeping the nation. They’ll have to think up at least three or four new nicknames that no one uses to deal with all the excitement. My suggestion? “The Best of What’s Left.” Catchy and true.
