Top 10 ways WWE can improve ratings for RAW

WWE is in the unfortunate position of having earned its lowest TV rating in 20 years Monday as, amazingly, world champion Sheamus did not immediately boost audience levels to Attitude Era numbers.

Now, the more radical thinkers among us might suggest things like “pushing someone other than Roman Reigns as the top guy” or “listening to the audience and adjusting the product accordingly” or “cutting the show down from three hours so it doesn’t put the audience to sleep” to fix this problem. I feel as though that’s just not trying hard enough.

Clearly the audience just doesn’t understand how badly it wants to see Reigns chase Sheamus for the world title, and we’re all the ones with the problem, not Vince McMahon. But Smackdown is moving to USA Network in January, so having eyeballs on the product every week is more important than ever.

With that in mind, here are 10 suggestions for how Vince can improve ratings without having to sacrifice the Roman Reigns push. Because who doesn’t love Roman Reigns?
