On January 22 2016, I had the chance to interview So You Think You Can Dance‘s Alexia Meyer & Jessica “JJ” Rabone just before their live tour stop at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario.
In our interview, we discussed what life on the tour has been like. JJ admitted that she loved the catering (hilarious) and Alexia talked about how the tour has managed to strength the team spirit between all of the dancers as the competition is so far removed from where they are now. JJ admitted that a big difference can be seen before each performance as the stage and street dancers have very different ways of warming up. They both revealed their favourite routines of the season. Alexia revealed details about the bus and admitted that Moises has been the prankster on-board and admitted that she and Jaja are the ones who go to bed the earliest. The dancers both told me what they are planning on doing after the tour. I also told Alexia about my imminent plans to move to Utah as I feel that Salt Lake City has quickly become the dance capital of the world.
