CB’s Slant: The Perfect Debut of Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT Takeover Dallas

Columns, Top Story

The results are in from NXT Takeover Dallas, and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn simply lived up to the hype. Here are some unfiltered thoughts on what was the best debut and men’s pro wrestling match (not involving Daniel Bryan) I’ve seen in WWE in years:

–In a matter of seconds, Nakamura became the most charismatic superstar to debut in WWE since Chris Jericho in 1999. If I had to choose between Reigns-HHH and Nakamura-HHH as the WWE Title match this Sunday, I would choose Nakamura in a heartbeat. This guy is WWE World Heavyweight Champion material.

–The match itself was 20 minutes of pro wrestling PERFECTION, a minute or so’s worth you can see here:

–Equally important as the crowd’s incredible reaction is that Vince McMahon himself was watching!

–And, lest I forget, THANK YOU SAMI ZAYN…

…and good luck at WrestleMania 32!

That’s all from ME — CB.
