Rabblecast 446 – The Return of Jimmy, The Loss of Doris Roberts & Balls Mahoney

After a few weeks off, our beloved third co-host, Jimmy returns to the show! We find out what he’s been up to while he’s been away and how many Puscifer shows he attended in a single week.

We also report on the recent passing of two more entertainers. Doris Roberts(aged 90), best known for her role as Raymond Barone’s mother, Marie Barone, on the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, which ran from 1996–2005. Doug apparently, a huge Romano fan(not really).

The second passing we report on is a little more personal. Former ECW wrestler, Balls Mahoney(Jon Rechner, aged 44) passed away in his home in NJ. Regarded as one of the “ECW Originals”, Balls Mahoney had a storied career not only in ECW and WWE, but on the independent scene as well. He was a great friend and teacher. He is survived by his wife and son.

Also in this episode, we manage to talk about a few upcoming features. Green Room(2015), starring Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, and Sir Patrick Stewart. We also have some casting rumors for the joint Sony/Marvel film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. And finally, we talk about the recently announced R rating for the animated adaptation of DC Comics’ Batman: The Killing Joke.
