Rollercoaster gets Blu-ray love in June

Disc Announcements, News

Summer movies of the ’70s used to be a fun time when people would flock to see tales what they shouldn’t do on their summer vacation. You didn’t want to go into the water after seeing Jaws. A visit to Los Angeles was ruled out when Earthquake hit the screen. After the release of Rollercoaster in 1977, theme parks became a death trap. This film will flash you back to the world of a theme park and when rollercoasters were just getting outrageous in designs. Little to the riders know that their greatest danger comes not from the thrill of the ride, but a psychotic with a bomb. Rollercoaster is not only bringing the fun to Blu-ray, but you can crank up the speakers and listen to the original Sensurround sound mix. Here’s the press release from Shout! Factory:
