Spoilers for the Season 13 NCIS finale.
NCIS season 13 ended with the departure of actor Michael Weatherly’s NCIS Special Agent Tony DiNozzo.
Tony DiNozzo lost Ziva David, played by actress Cote De Pablo who exited the series 2 seasons ago, off camera. The on-air “couple” were known by fans as “Tiva”.
The in-story reason for Tony DiNozzo is that he needs to take care of his and Ziva’s daughter Tali, named after Ziva’s deceased sister. Tali was played by actresses Emelia and Layla Golfieri. The reveal of a daughter was surprise for DiNozzo, but explained through the episode through surrogates for Ziva David, as the actress did not return to the series for the finale.
Ziva wanted Tony to live his life, Ziva was also fearcly independent not wanting to rely on any man, but Tali did recognize her dad in a photo Ziva had tucked in her “go bag” with baby supplies.
Fans have wondered how actress Cote De Pablo would react to her off-camera offing.
Well, seems at peace as actor Michael Weatherly shared photos of the two together after the finale in a happy, playful mood.
