The day after Nick & Phil Paquette were named the winners of Big Brother Canada 4, I headed into the house to do extended interviews with the entire cast. I caught up with Cassandra Shahinfar in the Have-Not Room and we discussed her time on the show. I asked Cassandra about how much prep work she did prior to heading into the house and how many predicted that she would be the first to be evicted based on the houseguest biographies. Cassandra said that her strategy was to make one solid alliance while also hiding her knowledge of the game from the other players. I asked Cassandra if she felt like she was the only one taking ownership of her gameplay in the diary room and how this element was missing from so many of the other houseguests. I asked Cassandra if her voting for the brothers to win was meant as an apology for her lie about not using the veto on Tim. I mentioned to Cassandra that I saw her instructing the others on how they should vote during the live show and whether she was the one controlling the votes during her time in the jury house. In a surprising confession, Cassandra admitted to me that she would have cut Tim in the final three, knowing that he would be the only one who could have received more jury votes than her. Finally Cassandra told me what she thought was the best element of her game.
