Civil War II Fallout: A Horizontal Marvel NOW! Replaces A Vertical Marvel NOW! At Marvel Comics?

News, Top Story

After Marvel Comics’ Civil War II wraps up, Marvel NOW! returns, but visually different.

Here are Marvel last few logos for their various branding and relaunches.

You’ll note that the first time Marvel Comics did Marvel NOW! the logo had Marvel onto of the NOW! However, now, the Marvel and the NOW! are on the same line. So, what does the shift from vertical to horizontal signify? Probably nothing beyond trying to differentiate 2016’s Marvel NOW! with 2012’s Marvel NOW!

BTW, if I can put a plug in, I’m still waiting for my Citizen V series from the All-New All-Different Marvel.

Currently I’m reading Squadron Supreme and Thunderbolts and would love for the promised Citizen V related Marvel series to hit stands.

Squadron Supreme has a been a solid read since its debut issue and Thunderbolts is a fun book so far. And, I love me some Citizen V too.

Anyhow, Marvel’s news release is below for their 2016 publishing initiative.

What characters or teams do you want to gets some Marvel NOW! love post Civil War II?

Me, I hoping for some Ultraverse or CrossGen titles, but I don’t think I’ll see that. Maybe some New Warriors though instead?
