Brock Lesnar

Update:
UFC announced that Brock Lesnar would be returning to MMA for a Heavyweight Fight at UFC 200.

During the UFC 199 broadcast, it was revealed that Lesnar would be returning at the next event. Lesnar headlined UFC 100, and last appeared on WWE TV at Wrestlemania 32.

The 38-year-old Lesnar hasn’t competed in MMA since his Dec. 2011 loss to Alistair Overeem.

WWE.com confirmed the news and also stressed he would be back in WWE for Summerslam 2016:
Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.

According to MMA Fighting, there is a possibility that Brock Lesnar will be fighting at UFC 200.
Lesnar reportedly got an addition to his WWE contract around the time of Wrestlemania 32 that would allow for such a fight to take place.

Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting reported:

Both sides are close to finalizing a deal, and if all goes well, Lesnar’s return to mixed martial arts could be announced imminently.

While talks are progressing well between Lesnar and the UFC, an opponent for Lesnar isn’t close to being finalized. It is unclear at this time who is under consideration.

Lesnar noted in October that he was serious about fighting again, on an appearance of the Stone Cold Podcast on WWE Network:

“It wasn’t a bluff,” Lesnar told Austin. “I felt robbed by diverticulitis. I felt robbed by being sick. I was feeling good and it took me a couple years to start feeling good. I’m at home, I’m working out, my life is great, everything’s in tune, my contract’s coming to an end with WWE, hey it’s been a great time but something’s missing.

“I was up front and totally honest with the company and told them I’m really thinking of pursuing getting back in the Octagon.”
