Rabblecast 456 – Pokemon Go, UFC 200

Once again, we have an odd mix of topics that you probably won’t find on most shows. Are you one of the millions of fans playing the new Pokemon Go app from mobile game company, Niantic and everyone’s favorite family home entertainment video game provider, Nintendo. Look out of your home window, you will probably see a few Pokemon hunters walking or riding by as they explore the real world(probably for the first time) for their favorite pocket monster.

UFC 200, did you watch it? We didn’t, but we do our best to go over the results and discuss some of the recent news and controversy surrounding the sport. The UFC, once purchased for $2 million dollars was recently sold for $4 billion. How’s that for a financial return?

And last but certainly not least, Doug brings us another mining based tragedy for this week’s “Horrible Events in History” with the Knox Mine Disaster.
