BIG NEWS & SPOILERS FOR NCIS SEASON 14!

Two actors, seen the in NCIS Season 13 finale (spoilers here), were expected to join the main NCIS cast for Season 14: Sarah Clarke as FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe and Duane Henry as MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves. However, it appears of the two that only Duane Henry was promoted to a Season 14 NCIS regular as Sarah Clarke reportedly turned down an offer made to join the cast.
In addition, actors Wilmer Valderrama and Jennifer Esposito being made NCIS Season 14 cast regulars; Esposito presumably replaces Clarke with a new character.
Jennifer Esposito is reported to play “Special Agent Alex Quinn, an experienced agent who left field work and became an instructor at the Law Enforcement Training Center. Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will lure her back into the field as part of his team where he will take advantage of her sharp wit, quick mind and immense talent as a federal agent.”
Wilmer Valderrama is reportedly playing a yet-to-be-named character who was “a once grounded NCIS field agent who accepted a deep cover assignment years ago and never resurfaced. Many agents don’t know he’s still on the job or that he’s even alive. Now, he’s back and his dedication to job and country has left him an unpredictable, charismatic loose cannon.”
He also brings some comedy chops the role as well as the drama as did departed actor Michael Weatherly who played Special Agent Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo for 13 seasons of NCIS and who is now the lead for the new CBS drama Bull.
Jennifer Espositio, Wilmer Valderrama and Duane Henry join Mark Harmon‘s NCIS team boss Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Sean Murray‘s Special Agent Timothy McGee and Probationary Agent Emily Wickersham‘s Ellie Bishop as the core investigative field agents for NCIS.
The Season 14 cast is rounded by regular cast members Pauley Perrette as Forensic Specialist Abby Sciuto, Brian Dietzen as Jimmy Palmer, David McCallum as Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, and Rocky Carrol as NCIS Director Leon Vance.
TV Premiere Details for NCIS, NCIS: LA, NCIS: NOLA & Bull!
NCIS Season 14 premieres on Tuesday, September 20 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Michael Weatherly’s new show Bull will air after NCIS at 9 p.m. followed by NCIS: New Orleans Season 3 at 10 p.m.
NCIS: Los Angeles moves to Sundays for Season 8 and premieres on Sunday, October 2 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
