During the Young Gotham / Young Metropolis DC Comics Rebirth panel at San Diego Comics Con 2016 (SDCC 2016) DC Comics revealed some pages from Supergirl Rebirth #1 and Supergirl #1 that seems to reveal a new Supergirl “S” shield for this core member of the Superman family.

The new Supergirl “S” shield logo appears more angular per the pages below.
However that Supergirl “S” shield logo is not consistent with other pages revealed below; I’m not sure which pages are from Supergirl Rebirth #1 vs. Supergirl #1.
Nor is that new “S” shield, which I prefer BTW, consistent with the covers revealed; again not sure which books these are the cover of, Supergirl Rebirth #1 or Supergirl #1.
However, there are some no Supergirl shield pages that were released as well.
