During San Diego Comic Con 2016 (SDCC 2016) DC Comics revealed a bit more about where former Green Lantern, former White Lantern current Omega Lantern Kyle Rayner is. We’ve been tracking this for some time; from the end of the Omega Men series to DC’s Kyle Rayner Rebirth teases.
Well, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Office Geoff Johns characterized Kyle Rayner’s DC Comics Rebirth role in an interesting way during SDCC 2016.
- “Kyle was left off of that spread deliberately because of what’s coming up for him in ‘Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps,’ and his next evolution. We didn’t want to give it a way, but he will be doing something very important to the new DC universe.”
So, “evolution” of Kyle Rayner? Green, White, Omega Lantern no more? What’s next for this fan fave?
