Brian Cage: “[Lucha Underground is] the best decision I ever made” – Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard 7/27, Plus Chavo Guerrero, Jr.!

Cage LU S2E2

Sports Illustrated‘s Extra Mustard for this week was pretty cool. Check out the news regarding Matt Hardy’s desire to delete Bray Wyatt, plus the Top 10 Wrestlers for this week, WWE New Era impressions, and much more!

But even more amazing – Chavo Guerrero, Jr., both a luchador and a producer for Lucha Underground, stated to Extra Mustard that there are “plans” in the works for up to Season 10! Great news for me! And, well, for you Believers, too. Now, this does not necessarily mean that seasons up until Season 10 are officially confirmed. However, it sounds like they’re not only optimistic about it happening, but also well-prepared.

Season 3 of LU will premiere sometime between later this year and early 2017.

Guerrero also added that he believes that “Lucha is not done at the end of season three. It’s El Rey’s flagship show, and they are very happy with the product, but it’s about getting eyes on the product.” You can read more on the EM post!

EM also sat down for Five Questions with Brian Cage! You can check out the full interview at the link above.

Cage will also wrestle Keith Lee at Beyond Wrestling’s annual summer show, Americanrana ’16, in a Hoss Fight! If you’re lucky enough to make it to Providence for it this Sunday, you can find the deets here. A Women’s Wrestling Revolution show takes place earlier at the same venue, too!
