…and his own corrupt henchmen. Black Mask asks his new second in command Red Hood to make an example of them and, he, seemingly kills all of them in cold blood!
We then move to Red Hood’s second assignment for Black Mask. He’s to take down a train…
…infiltrate it…
…to steal some cargo.
However, Red Hood and his Black Mask henchmen are met by…
…Artemis!
So…
No Bizarro yet, but Artemis emerges. We know what Red Hood’s mission is, but not whether Artemis and Bizarro will be with him or against him. This was an amazing debut issue in story and art. The pacing works as the slow build to the team feels organic. Highly recommended.
