At tonight’s Summerslam 2016 it looks like WWE Smackdown Live’s existing WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt will be changed as a result of the debut of Raw’s WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship belt.
The new WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship belt for Raw is expected to look like this.
Meaning that WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt for Smackdown Live will become this…
…from this.

We’ll see how this WWE belt business all pans out tonight and this week on Raw and Smackdown Live! Not sure if it’s best for business for two supposed competing brands to have similar looking top titles. I’m 50-50 on whether this will come to pass despite the solid source. Nonetheless, we only have a few hours to go to find out!
