Spoilers and casting news follow for NCIS Season 14!
A few more things we now know about NCIS Season 14 straight from showrunner Gary Glasberg.
- Gibbs has been trying — unsuccessfully! — to find an agent to take over the empty desk [where DiNozzo sat]
- He has burned through six of them
- [NCIS Special Agent Alex Quinn, played by new series regular Jennifer Esposito] an instructor at FLETC, the [Federal] Law Enforcement Training Center,” says Glasberg, “so she basically shows up and says to Gibbs, ‘What the hell is wrong with you?!
- Quinn’s on-site check-in coincides with the team working a case that resurfaces long-undercover NCIS Special Agent Nick Torres (new series regular Wilmer Valderrama).
- There’s something really fun coming up [concerning the seating situation of the NCIS offices set-up] — we’ve rearranged things a bit. I think the fans are going to go a little crazy.
- MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves [played by new series regular] Duane Henry officially joins the cast in Episode 5.
A visibly slimmer NCIS Special Agent Timothy “Tim” Farragut McGee [played by series regular Sean Murray] will assume outgoing NCIS Special Agent Tony DiNozzo’s [played by CBS Bull lead Michael Weatherly] role as the senior field agent on the NCIS squad.
Plus, it is also being reported that a wedding is on the horizon for Timothy McGee!
- But the more exciting development comes in McGee’s personal life. Based on what we’ve heard, not only will he pop the question to Delilah (Margo Harshman) in Season 14, but it’s extremely likely that a wedding is on the horizon before the end of the season.
This all follows the two earlier NCIS Season 14 updates here and here.
NCIS Season 14 hits airwaves for CBS at 8 p.m. on September 20, 2016.
