The 20th installment of the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival starts today in Durham, N.C. InsidePulse will be covering the films and the filmmakers all weekend long.
The highlights of Thursday’s schedule includes Steve James’ Abacus: Small Enough to Jail about the only bank to be charged with mortgage fraud after the financial collapse in 2008. James is best known for his work on the legendary Hoop Dreams.
Also playing is The Grown Ups focuses on a pair of bakers that are prevented from marrying by the Chilean government. The Good Postman takes us to life in Bulgaria near the Turkish border. Life – Instruction Manual examines how we learn about living and dying. Samuel in the Clouds examines what happens to a family in Bolivia when their ski resort is threatened by a melting glacier.
