  • Eternal Warrior: The Awakening #1 – I really liked Robert Venditti’s recent run with Gilad, so I’m happy to see it coming back, even if it is only for one issue.
  • Regression #1 – Cullen Bunn has been doing a lot of great work lately, so it’s safe to say I’m probably going to like his new Image title.
  • Renato Jones: Second Season #1 – It’s great to see Kaare Andrews’s kill-the-rich comic coming back to the stands. The first run was a lot of fun, and I’m hoping that Donald Trump shows up here again…
  • Star Wars: The Screaming Citadel #1 – The last Star Wars arc was disappointing, but the last time that Jason Aaron and Kieron Gillen combined their Star Wars titles, the result was excellent. I’m hoping that happens again with this event.
  • Titans #11 – I am loving Priest’s Deathstroke run, so where I would normally skip a crossover like the Lazarus Contract, which runs through this book, Teen Titans, and Slade’s own, I’m actually looking forward to seeing how that complex storyline spills across the line.

  • FUTURE QUEST #12 – I don’t have a huge connection to a lot of characters in this series, but it quickly grew on me. This is the last issue in this volume, but DC has already hinted that the series will be coming back at some point, and I am really glad to hear that.
  • ROCKET #1 – Been a lot of Guardians books on the shelves in the last few weeks. To be honest, I am a little Guardian’d out, but Al Ewing is pretty solid on every book he’s done, so I will likely check it out anyway.
  • ACTION COMICS #979 – The last few issues of ACTION COMICS has been taking us on a tour of Superman’s newly rewritten history. Meanwhile, many of his enemies are joining forces as a new Superman Revenge Squad. Lots of cool stuff here, though it’s been a little slow. Hopefully business is about to pick up!
  • BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES ADVENTURES #6 – I actually thought issue 5 was the end of this series. Was surprised to see issue 6 pop up on my hold list. I actually liked the first Batman/TMNT series much better, but this has still been a lot of fun.
  • TITANS #11 – Part one of a crossover with Deathstroke. Kind of hyped up for this. Deathstroke has become such a pansy in recent years. I miss when he used to be a perpetual badass messing with the Teen Titans. Hopefully this will be a more regular occurrence because I can’t take him as a weak-kneed semi-hero anymore.
  • OLD MAN LOGAN #23 – Like ACTION COMICS, the current OLD MAN LOGAN arc features a trip through Logan’s past. Definitely a strong reminder of how interesting a character Wolverine has been over the years. Next issue features his time as Patch, which is basically when I first discovered the character.
  • Rough Riders Riders On The Storm #3
  • Batgirl And The Birds Of Prey #10
  • Detective Comics #956
  • Hal Jordan And The Green Lantern Corps #20
  • Justice League Of America #6
  • New Super-Man #11
  • Red Hood And The Outlaws #10
  • Scooby Apocalypse #13
  • Suicide Squad #17
  • Supergirl #9
  • Back To The Future #19
  • Wonder Woman #22
  • Star Trek Green Lantern Volume 2 Stranger Worlds #6
  • Fix #9
  • All-New Wolverine #20
  • Amazing Spider-Man #27
  • Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows #7
  • America #3
  • Avengers #7
  • Gwenpool The Unbelievable #15
  • Ms. Marvel #18
  • Secret Warriors #1
  • Silver Surfer #11
  • Star Wars The Screaming Citadel #1
  • Uncanny Avengers #23
  • Weapon X #3
  • X-Men Blue #3
  • Eternal Warrior Awakening #1
