Kids growing up and living the various incarnations of Power Rangers might not know that the elements of the show came from various Japanese versions of the series. They were known as Ninja Sentai. Now fans can enjoy the Ninja Sentai Kakuranger episodes for free this Saturday as part of Shout! Factory Streaming’s live event. Factory TV proudly presents a streaming marathon event with live Q&A and commentary segments as episodes of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger blast onto the screen on Saturday, May 20th at 9 a.m. (PST) at http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/ and on Pluto TV Channel 512.
 
Broadcast live from the Super Sentai secret headquarters somewhere in Hollywood, the marathon allows fans to experience epic Kakuranger episodes and try to stump the experts during live segments hosted by Shout! Factory’s Brian Ward, alongside comedian Hana Michels, Geek and Sundry and Twitch personality Erika Ishii, and Power Rangers Expert Shamus Kelley. Fans are encouraged to use #Kakuranger to share their Super Sentai knowledge and connect with live Q&A.
 
From the show that inspired Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Ninja Sentai Kakuranger follows the rangers on a quest filled with martial arts, color costumes, giant monsters and more as they fight spectacular battles to save Earth from The Machine Empire. The marathon will be streaming episodes of the original Japanese series that inspired and provided footage for the Power Rangers franchise, presented in Japanese with English subtitles.

Ninja Sentai Kakuranger Synopsis
It’s been a long time since the great war between the Three God Generals and the Youkai, an ancient race of monstrous spirits. Since then, imprisoned in a cave protected by the mystical Seal Door, their leader Daimaou and his Youkai army wait, planning for the day they can finally strike. That day has arrived and it is up to the Kakurangers, along with the Three God Generals, to defeat the Youkai before Daimaou’s villainy destroys Earth!
