The day after he won Big Brother Canada 5, I had the chance to catch up with the winner, Kevin Martin, to discuss what happened. I immediately told Kevin what I thought about his decision to use the veto on Ika and why I thought it was strategically one of the worst moves in reality TV history. We also discussed Demetres’ jury question where he asked Kevin why he should vote for him when he started playing so late in the game. I asked Kevin to answer if it was more important to be a good social player or a good physical player on Big Brother. We also delved into his volatile relationship with Karen on the show and if Kevin ever considered taking Demetres to the end just so that his nemesis wouldn’t finish Big Brother Canada as the runner-up. Kevin opened up about the differences between the way that he played Big Brother Canada the first time versus his more successful second attempt and how his relationship with Bruno also changed during that time. I asked Kevin to tell me who he would give his final rose to if he was The Bachelor (either Pili or William) and he also talked to me about what he would use the money for.
