A little over a year and half ago a Kickstarter campaign from Gun Media was launched for Friday the 13th The Video Game. What originally began as a game paying homage to the film franchise quickly became a full blown project with the name and license. Originally scheduled for an October 2016 launch, the game was finally released around Memorial Day weekend of 2017. From what we can see online and what we can read as far as game play reviews, the game does a good job of giving you the full Camp Crystal Lake experience.
However, glitches, server issues, and more have plagued the launch of this long awaited title. We here at The Rabblecast have yet to play an actual session. But that doesn’t deter us. We still want our chance to survive a night running from the legendary horror icon. Or, play as Jason Vorhees himself and stalk the group of counselors.
