How did this week rate?
I wish I could be behind Joe & Brock. But knowing that Brock is going to walk away with the Title makes me think that this will be more damaging for Joe. Is it weird that I am enjoying the Goldust segments (but NOT Truth).
They did an outstanding job building up Joe vs. Brock. They
needed to make Joe look like a world-beater and did so. Now, it’s
personal and it’s usually just business for Brock. This should make
for a more intense match at…Great Balls of Fire…well, that show
name kills things a bit, but they have built this up marvelously and
honestly don’t need to do anything else to make it a must-watch.
A fairly breezy show to get through, and I’m loving the Joe push. The match better deliver, though I fear it won’t. They also admitted that last week’s “This is your life” was an atrocity, which was nice.
I am already very into the Samoa Joe/Brock Lesnar program and I hope it can be more than a one-off. The rest of the show was average.Rating: 6.5
