Marvel Legacy #1 hits stands in September 2017 with the Marvel Legacy branded rollout of existing titles, and some new, starting presumably in October 2017.
The initial rollout of Marvel Legacy homage covers was panned by fandom because it didn’t “change the comic book industry” as advertised and because it had 4 noticeable no-shows despite their prominance on the Marvel Legacy #1 covers. The 4 MIA core Marvel Avengers and icons were:
- Tony Stark Iron Man
- Steve Rogers Captain America
- Odinson Thor
- Bruce Banner Hulk
