Punjabi Prison match for the WWE Championship
Jinder Mahal (c) (with Sunil Singh and Samir Singh) vs. Randy Orton
Michael – I am so sick of this feud. I dislike both guys. I dislike the stipulation. This needs a dislike button.
Winner: Mahal, I guess
Widro – I’m hoping that this is the end of the Jinder/Randy issue!
Winner: Mahal
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs. The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods)
Michael – While I would like to see the Usos hold onto the belts here, I figure they will make the switch to try to milk more out of the New Day.
Winner: New Day
Widro – I think the Usos will continue to reign until a possible Summerslam title change in Brooklyn.
Winner: Usos
Flag match
John Cena vs. Rusev
Michael – God, not that nationalistic shot again. I was tired of Cena versus Rusev the first time they did this feud. So many different scenarios to use Rusev (do they realize his former sidekick is the champion?) and they go boring with another Cena match. Ugh.
Winner: Cena, of course.
Widro – Hard to see Rusev winning here.
Winner: Cena
Fatal 5-Way elimination match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam
Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Lana
Michael – Boring, lazy booking. They took last month’s match and made it worse. No ladders and replacing Carmella with Lana. Yawn.
Winner: Charlotte Flair (why not)
Widro – I think the big match for Summerslam would have to be Becky or Charlotte.
Winner: Becky Lynch
WWE United States Championship
AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Michael – This is the only interesting match on the card for me. It’s for the wrong title, but so be it. They are already hinting at the next challengers for Styles, so the outcome should be easy to predict.
Winner: AJ Styles
Widro – They just put the title on Styles, I don’t think it’s going back, should be match of the night.
Winner: Styles
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin
Michael – Weird match. Nakamura has been booked strong. Corbin has the MITB briefcase. It doesn’t make much sense for either man to lose heat, so I guess Nakamura gets the win after a hard fought match.
Winner: Nakamura
Widro – I hope Nakamura can get something out of Baron here.
Winner: Nakamura
Kickoff Show Match
Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English
Michael – English gets a raw deal and deserves better. But the crowds love Tye for some reason.
Winner: Dillinger
Widro – Yikes, huge jobber match on a PPV.
Winner: Dillinger
