Marvel Comics Legacy & Secret Empire Spoilers: Secret Empire #7 Has Hydra Begin To Crumble With Secret Empire #8 & Secret Empire #9? All 13 Mark Brooks Covers; No Longer A 10-Part Event!

Spoilers, Top Story

Marvel Comics Legacy and Secret Empire Spoilers follow.

With Secret Empire #7 we finally get to see how the Hydra storyline will visually begin to end as the final cover to Secret Empire #8 was revealed.

Here it is. And Hydra is crumbling in the logo! Also, is that an Infinity gem of some kind in the Falcon – Captain America’s hand?

That is now the final cover for that of Marvel’s 13-part, not 10-part, Secret Empire core mini-series event.

All 13 covers are below rendered by the amazing Mark Brooks.

(1) Secret Empire Free Comic Book Day 2017 (FCBD 2017).

(2) Secret Empire #0.

(3) Secret Empire #1.

(4) Secret Empire #2.

(5) Secret Empire #3.

(6) Secret Empire #4.

(7) Secret Empire #5.

(8) Secret Empire #6.

(9) Secret Empire #7.

(10) Secret Empire #8.

(11) Secret Empire #9.

This is not the final cover as we need to see (1) who the blacked out character is and (2) the correct shield in the book’s Secret Empire top logo. The Hydra shield should be further shattered due to the reveal of Secret Empire #8’s cover on its way to morphing into, or revealing underneath it, the Captain America shield that we see on the cover to Secret Empire #10. Fans got a first look at that logo, more Captain America shield than Hydra shield, during San Diego Comic Con 2017 (SDCC 2017).

(12) Secret Empire #10.

(13) Secret Empire Omega #1.

Not final cover either as we need to wait to see what the Secret Empire or Marvel Legacy trade dress will look like.

So those are the 13 issues, not 10 issues, of Marvel Comics’ core Secret Empire event mini-series on the road to Marvel Legacy.

Interesting.
