Marvel Comics Legacy Spoilers: Spider-Men II #2 Sets Miles Morales Spider-Man On Collision Course With Miles Morales… Assassin On Road To Generations: Miles Morales Spider-Man & Peter Parker Spider-Man #1, Spiders!

Spoilers, Top Story

Marvel Comics Legacy Spoilers for Spider-Men II #2 follows.

The first Spider-Men series that concluded in Spider-Men #5 in 2012 ended with Peter Parker doing a google search to see who the Miles Morales was of the 616 universe after his adventure with the then Ultimate Universe Miles Morales adventure ended. This was Peter Parker, Spider-Man, and his reaction to what he saw.

He was stunned, shocked by what he saw on the screen.

Fast-forward five (5) years and we finally learn what shocked Peter Parker…

…in his google search about the 616’s Miles Morales. It was…

…a heaping pile of NOTHING. A “nothing burger” if you will. So, why did Peter Parker remark with “Oh My God” when he googled this five years ago? Perhaps Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man is a drama queen?

Anyhow, the 616’s seeming assassin Miles Morales doesn’t like that Miles Morales Spider-Man was caught on camera unmasked so he has to cleanse the internet. He’s been so careful to not be seen on the grid…

…he sends the Taskmaster to kill Miles Morales, Spider-Man.

And, on top of that, we get a Spider-Men of sorts in September with the release of Generations: Miles Morales Spider-Man and Peter Parker Spider-Man #1, Spiders, on September 27, 2017.

Here’s the solicit for that.

Generations: Miles Morales Spider-Man and Peter Parker Spider-Man #1, Spiders

When it comes to problems, Peter Parker’s got it all! Bullies at school, ailing aunt, a doppelganger, crushing responsibility, and – wait, a doppelganger?! Can’t Peter ever catch a break? And what does all this craziness have to do with Miles Morales?

At the same time, in September 2017, we will also have Spider-Men II #3.

Here’s that solicitation.

      Spider-Men II #3 (of 5)

Meeting the Miles Morales who was already in the Marvel Universe sets OUR Miles OFF! As if he weren’t struggling with interior conflicts that were tougher than the external conflicts, this revelation hits Miles hard. Luckily, Peter Parker, an expert on personal tragedy and dark spots, is by his side!
