Angelic #1 – Many years after humans have died off, animals rule the Earth. Qora is a young winged monkey looking to break free of societal and gender norms. From the mind of Simon Spurrier and the pen of Caspar Wjingaard comes Image’s newest series, filled with imagination. I read a preview of the first issue, there’s a feeling of innocence while Qora realizes what she wants, but it’s easy to see things could get dark. This is bound to be a great series.
Millarworld Annual 2017 – Make a quick return to your favorite stories from Mark Millar’s ever-expanding universe, including Huck, Kick-Ass, Empress, Superior, and many more!
Samurai Jack: Quantum Jack #1 – The adventures of Jack continue in this new series IDW and the creative team of Helena Crash! Jack is leading a biker gang to ambush a royal envoy! Wait, that can’t be right…
Star Wars Annual #3 – We’ve been enjoying the time between Episodes IV & V, and it seems like we’re taking a step closer to Empire Strikes Back as the gang looks for a new rebel base if the cover is any reliable indication.
The Librarians #1 – Based on the hit TV show! I’ve only seen a handful of episodes but it’s a fun series, and this should be the same.
Wonder Woman/Conan #1 – Fan-favorite writer Gail Simone brings us a new series with everyone’s favorite Amazon and barbarian! Her Conan/Red Sonja series with Jim Zub was pretty good, so this should be good too.
