On Monday September 25, I had the chance to catch up with So You Think You Can Dance judge Nigel Lythgoe immediately after the finale.
We chatted about a variety of subjects including his feelings about returning to the old format of the show (following last year’s kids theme). We also talked about the inclusion of former all-stars and giving them the power to decide who they wanted as their partner and thereby making them makeshift judges in and of themselves. I asked Nigel if he was concerned that the all-stars might replace him behind the judges table at some point given the effectiveness this year.
