Update On Jeff Jarrett (Allegedly Passed Out Drunk In Locker Room & Wrestled Inebriated)

News

UPDATE 10.26.17: Jeff Jarrett has reportedly entered a WWE-sponsored rehabilitation facility. If this is true, we would like to wish Jeff the best of luck in his recovery.

In an update of this past weekend’s report of Jeff Jarrett having issues at an independent show, new footage and details have emerged.

When “Double J” arrived late for a Real Canadian Wrestling show on Friday he appeared to have been drinking. While he blamed his tardiness on boarder issues, he proceed to pass out in the locker room and had to be woken up at intermission to take photos with fans. After this the promoter had decided to cancel his main event match but Jarrett insisted he was fine to compete. It’s suspected that he continued to drink from intermission on and wasn’t ready when his music was playing for his entrance. When he finally did arrive at the ring, he and his opponent stalled for around 10 minutes until pushing forward with a match in which Jarrett obviously had no business attempting. Jarrett then no showed his scheduled appearance for RCW on Saturday.

The match was captured on the video below and uploaded by Real Canadian Wrestling promoter Steven Ewaschuk. Jarrett has since denied passing out in the locker room. He also referred to the promoter as an “amateur.”
