DC Comics Rebirth, Stan Lee LA Comic Con 2017 & February 2018 Solicitations Spoilers: New Ongoing Batman / Wonder Woman Series To Debut? What Will Catwoman Think?

DC Comics Rebirth, Stan Lee LA Comic Con 2017 and February 2018 Solicitations Spoilers follow.

During the Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con 2017 it was revealed that Liam Sharp would provide the art for a new ongoing team-up series with Batman and Wonder Woman according to BC.

The new series is expected to launch in February 2018.

Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman headline the Trinity ongoing monthly series, anchor the Justice League series and star in their own respective series (Detective Comics and Batman; Wonder Woman; Action Comics and Superman).

There have been various series around the duos from the trinity: Superman/Batman, Batman/Superman and Superman/Wonder Woman. This will be the first one with Batman/Wonder Woman.

It is surprising with Batman now engaged to Catwoman that a Batman / Catwoman book would have seemed like a no brainer, but it appears that will be a big part of Batman’s Batman series the same way that Superman and Lois Lane are central to Superman’s Superman series.

Wonder Woman deserves another series of her own, not co-led by a male hero, but I’m curious how you’d give it a unique raison d’etre the way that Detective Comics and Batman have different mission statements.
