Usually Chatty Marvel Senior Vice President Of Publishing Tom Brevoort & Marvel Editor In Chief Axel Alonso Silent On Brian Michael Bendis Move To DC Comics

The comics industry was rocked today with news that Marvel Comics writer stalwart Brian Michael Bendis was moving to DC Comics via an exclusivity deal.

Marvel corporately thanked BMB for his work, Marvel Chief Creative Officer and former EIC Joe Quesada thanked BMB for his Friendship, while fellow Marvel writer stalwart Dan Slott paid his respect to his peer.

Many fans have compared the news of Brian Michael Bendis to DC Comics to Jack Kirby’s move from Marvel to DC in 1970; high praise indeed.

As of press time, noticeably absent from today’s news is current Marvel Editor in Chief Axel Alonso and the usually verbose Senior Vice President Of Publishing Tom Brevoort. Sour grapes or have they said their thank you’s to BMB in private?
