With Sex Crimes and #MeToo In The Spotlight, Buzzfeed Talks To Women About DC Comics Editor Eddie Berganza Preying On Them.

Jessica Testa, Tyler Kingkade and Jay Edidin, reporters for Buzzfeed, released an investigative piece of journalism today on DC Comics Editor Eddie Berganza, 53, and his predatory practices towards female co-workers and others between 2006 and 2012.

The stories are only done justice by the words of the women victims themselves over at Buzzfeed.

This is a long article that meticulously tells readers about Berganza, his predatory practices against some female co-workers and comics convention goer who wanted to break into the business, as well as examines DC Comics actions in handling the matter.

The statement provided by DC Comics to Buzzfeed responding to the conduct of Eddie Berganza was broader than him as they cannot speak to specific human resources matters publicly due to personal privacy laws:

DC and WB are unequivocally committed to cultivating a work environment of dignity and respect, one that is safe and harassment free for all employees. We take all claims of harassment very seriously and investigate them promptly. Employees found in violation of the policies are dealt with swiftly and decisively, and subject to disciplinary actions and consequences.

After reading the Buzzfeed article, do you think DC Comics handled the Berganza affair properly?
