Black Lightning makes its debut in January 2018 in the same time slot that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow had on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. following the Flash. The CW indicates that Legends will return after its Fall finale in February on a new date and time to be announced.
The other CW DC TV shows will debut after their Fall finales in January 2018 as noted below.
MONDAY, JANUARY 15
8:00-9:00 PM SUPERGIRL
TUESDAY, JANUARY 16
8:00-9:00 PM THE FLASH
9:00-10:00 PM BLACK LIGHTNING
THURSDAY, JANUARY 18

The DC TV shows Supergirl (Season three), the Flash (Season four) and Arrow (Season six) on the CW have 23 episode seasons while DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season three) have 17 episode seasons making this an easier shift. Black Lightning (Season one) beginning in January 2018 will have a 13 episode run.
Currently, Black Lightning is not technically part of the DC TV “Arroweverse” as they other shows are. The other shows will have their second annual crossover called Crisis on Earth X over two days – November 27 and 28, 2018 – at the end of this month.
