The surprise here is that Three Billboards Outside, Ebbing Missouri won the evening’s big prize for Best Drama, and took home the most awards with three more wins for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Screenplay. Two other films won more than once, as Guillermo del Toro won Best Director for The Shape of Water, which also took the Globe for Best Original Score; while Lady Bird took home awards for Best Musical or Comedy and Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.
