Image Comics and Skybound Spoilers follow.

Entertainment Weekly has news on the upcoming Invincible finale in Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley & Cory Walker’s Invincible #144 including a new lead?

Here’s the story.

In August 2015, The Walking Dead comic writer Robert Kirkman announced that he would be winding up another of his titles, the superhero saga Invincible, with issue #144.

In a written statement, Kirkman explained he had once hoped other hands would take over the writing of Invincible, which he co-created with artist Cory Walker, until eventually he would be “reading an Invincible comic book by younger creators I haven’t met, who are doing a book that I hate.” He changed his mind in part because he realized that the upcoming issues of the comic would make for a natural conclusion and in part because of longtime artist Ryan Ottley’s desire to “draw something other than Invincible one day.”

Kirkman has turned out to be as good as his word with the last issue of Invincible hitting stands, Feb. 14. Above, get an exclusive preview of the second of issue #144’s two covers, which is drawn by Walker and features Mark Grayson’s daughter, Terra. Pre-order Invicible #144 here.
