Wonder Woman’s friend Vanessa Kapatelis, aka the Silver Swan, has seemingly killed a family putting her at odds with our titular heroine.
She’s no longer Vanessa, but the Silver Swan with some powerful sonic powers as well as flight.
We then have an interlude in the Amazon where a revived Darkseid and his daughter Grail are. She is worried about them stilling being on Earth where Wonder Woman and her twin brother Jason could find them.
Darkseid tells her not speak of her fears and that they need to stay at the ancient temple they are in. It radiates the Old Gods mysticism as well as the New Gods’ science. Its all part of his plan to gain unlimited power to, in part, retake Apokolips. There are four relics he needs first.
Darkseid has the Deep Six and Female Furies to aid him on Earth; he sends the Furies to retrieve a relic…
…from an ARGUS compound in Turkey where Steve Trevor and team are waiting for them.
We return to main story where Jason, having seen his sister in battle on TV, joins her and uses his power over the elements to try to subdue the Silver Swan, but…
…she slices at his neck and she and Wonder Woman are injured in battle…
…sending all three seemingly…
…to their deaths?
