Warner Bros. is carving out a date for The Six Billion Dollar Man.

The Mark Wahlberg tentpole will open May 31, 2019, the studio announced Friday. The film is expected to star Wahlberg as Steve Austin, a man who is saved by cutting-edge technology that turns him half-machine following a horrible accident. Damian Szifron will direct. The Hollywood Reporter reported in December that Warner Bros. was looking to buy the adaptation of the 1970s TV series The Six Million Dollar Man from The Weinstein Co. So far, the only other title set for that date is an untitled Blumhouse film from Universal.
