DC Comics Universe and Batman #43 Spoilers follow.

Why Has Poison Ivy Gone Off The Deep End and How Are Harley Quinn and Catwoman Keys To Saving Her, The Justice League and The World.

Batman speaks to Poison Ivy through the mind controlled Justice League: No Justice heroes – Superman, New Super-Man and Supergirl – that have him cornered in his hospital room while Catwoman is directly with Poison Ivy speaking with her.

Harley Quinn is the key to saving Poison Ivy and releasing her control of all the world; who she now controls through the vegetation people eat.

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are close; Batman believes while Ivy is controlling the world and keeping everyone’s mind deep so she doesn’t go crazy, that she is keeping the mind of her… lover (?)… close to the surface.

This all part of Batman’s plan to distract Poison Ivy…

…with more direct role for Catwoman.

Poison Ivy is knocked unconscious as are all the people around the globe that she controls. Batman and Catwoman try to revive Ivy, so that planes don’t fall out of the sky due to unconscious pilots, but most particularly Harkey Quinn.

Harley Quinn is freed and Batman races her to Poison Ivy and Catwoman.

Harley is both funny and sweet; she wants to know how Poison Ivy is really feeling to help her heal…

…together.

Poison Ivy has lost it because she thinks she murdered some men back in Batman #26, but…

…Batman tells her that it was wasn’t her that did the murders, but the Riddler.

Poison Ivy now knows that she was lied to (presumably by the Riddler) as…

…Batman and Catwoman can focus on…

…their wedding preparation.
